Squash Chips
Room Three decided to try making some squash chips.
We gathered up
olive oil
sea salt
a squash
three large sprigs of rosemary

We cut the squash in half and scooped out the seeds. Next we cut the squash in to thin strips. We popped all the pieces of squash into a plastic bag and poured on some olive oil. After that we tipped the oiled squash in to a baking tray. We sprinkled on sea salt and rosemary leaves. Our squash chips were cooked at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Everyone had to make container to put the hot chips in. The containers were made from newsprint paper. No one was allowed to use sellotape, glue or staples. Here are our photos.

Amethyst and Brylee did a great job of scraping out the seeds. Talia and Asha tossed the squash chips in olive oil.
